Community Philosophy

The community philosophy encapsulates the visions of all six collectives to form a Rotorua community strategic direction. This is typically covered through vision, mission and values statements.

The community philosophy is the aspirational statement that providers agree is the aim for all collective activities and solutions.

Supporting this community philosophy are the high level goals that we feel will achieve this strategic direction. This action plan has a five year duration that focuses on various needs we identify on an annual basis.

As a result, whilst the needs can change annually, the high level goals and philosophy won’t, providing the focus and consistency required to see positive short and long term change in our community.
